PenTest-Ont Cybersecurity Ontology
A cybersecurity ontology modelling tools, techniques, vulnerabilities and penetration testing knowledge.

Project Description
PenTest-Ont Cybersecurity Ontology is a semantic knowledge-modelling project that structures penetration testing concepts, tools, vulnerabilities, attack techniques and mitigation relationships using ontology engineering. OWL 2 is a W3C ontology language for representing classes, properties, individuals and relationships, while SPARQL is used to query RDF/semantic graph data. Protégé is a widely used ontology editor for building and reasoning over OWL ontologies.
Problem
Cybersecurity knowledge is often fragmented across tools, reports, vulnerability databases, attack techniques and testing methodologies. This makes it difficult to connect what vulnerability exists, which tool detects it, which attack technique exploits it and which mitigation reduces risk.
Solution
The ontology creates a structured knowledge graph where cybersecurity entities are linked logically. For example, a vulnerability can be connected to an attack category, a testing tool, an affected asset and a mitigation technique.
Main Features
FeatureDescription
